Many of our sick patients are well enough to be treated at home under your nursing care. However, in certain instances a more aggressive treatment regimen and monitoring are necessary and a hospital stay may be required. Our facility has a dedicated ward and animal care nurse for patients requiring intravenous treatments. A patient that requires a hospital stay may need an intravenous catheter with intravenous fluids to help maintain hydration, as well as intravenous medications if they are not eating or well enough to take medications orally.
Our hospital maintains a complete inventory of veterinary pharmaceuticals, vitamins, supplements, shampoos, oral care products and anti-parasitic medications to help keep your pets healthy or treat illnesses if needed.
We were not established with this vet, but we had a slightly injured dog so we went because the location was closer. They accepted us right in and it was a great experience. Everyone including Dr. Oakes was very friendly and knowledgeable. The office is well decorated and very clean. This is the only vet office I have ever been in that doesn't smell like animals. I don't know how they do it. When all was said and done they got our dog all fixed up, and the bill was far less than it would have been at our regular vet. We will definitely be making the switch for both of our dogs.
